Waiting for details but reports are that Manny has been traded to the Dodgers, this came moments after reports of a trade between Pittsburgh and the Dodgers for Jason Bay.
We maybe looking at a deal where the Dodgers sent Matt Kemp or Andre Ethier to the Pirates for Bay and then turned Bay to Boston for Ramirez, that’s just speculation on my part but we should know details soon.
UPDATE 4:32 PM
As speculated above Boston gets Jason Bay and the Dodgers get Ramirez while Pittsburgh gets four prospects, this again signals that the Marlins were to blame for the earlier three-way deal collapsing.
The deal was reportedly made moments before the deadline.
UPDATE 4:40 PM
Boston reportedly sends Brandon Moss and Craig Hansen to Pittsbugh as part of the deal, Pittsburgh also gets Andy LaRoche and Bryan Morris from the Dodgers.
